Church closure
This notice includes information received from Graeme WIlliams and Malcom Heath.
Following the PM’s statement to the nation, it is with sadness that we must completely close all churches in the Blyth Valley Team with immediate effect. We will obviously re-open as soon as practically possible, so watch this space for information. While churches are now locked, the porch to Linstead church remains available for private worship.
Further details of resources available to the people of Chediston and Linstead are available on the Blyth Valley Team Ministry website.
If you require shopping done, prescriptions made up, or more general help, please contact the Halesworth Volunteer Centre on 01986 875600. Their e-mail address is: covid@halesworthvc.co.uk. You should shortly be receiving a card in your letterbox, with this information. There is also a small team of volunteers from Chediston and Linstead who have offered to help. You can find a list of volunteers on the news blog and Covid-19 page of this website and on Facebook.
